Best way to buy a laptop in Germany for primary use in the US?
OK so a little background... I am from America doing a 3 month internship in Germany and my laptop that i brought over is now kaputt, as the Deutsche would say. So now, I am trying to buy a laptop here which will mainly be used in the US for most of its lifespan. -Can I order one with a US qwerty keyboard layout? -Where is the best place to look online for a deal? -I'm pretty sure, but I can get a charger cable for Europe and another one for the US right?

How can I get American Tv shows in Germany
How can I get American Tv shows in Germany?
Does anyone know how to get american Tv networks like The N here in germany? I dont want to watch them on television, but on my laptop. I've looked for players which show american Tv notworks but i could never find more then nickelodeon or comedy central... Could anyone please help me?

well you can try to download the program joost. with this you can watch tv shows, but in my opinion the selection isnt that great. Also hulu.com has alot of american tv shows, but you may need an ip address from america... ...which you can get by signing up for a secure vpn. this secures your internet anonymity by giving you another ip address. you can choose an american ip address and the websites you go to will think you are in america

Can I Use My Laptop In Germany ?
I have had a Dell 1520 Inspiron and i was wondering if i can use it in germany, i brought in The U.K. do i need anything to make it work ? Thanks :)

You will need an adapter for the power plug. The Voltage is different in Germany than in the US. US = 110V, Germany = 220V. But almost all power supplies of notebooks support both. So only the adapter for the plug is needed.
2 :
All you might need is a travel adapter to plug it in but it'll work fine apart from that.
3 :
You'll need a converter for your power supply. Alternatively, you can buy a new cable at any computer shop (media markt or so)
4 :
Their power sockets might be different. When you get to the airport, there are stores that sell power plug adapters
