How do i get wireless international service for my laptop?
I am in the army and i need wireless international internet service for my laptop. i will be stationed in germany in a month and will be in iraq in 6 months and then i will be comeing back home after that so i need something that i can use everywhere i go.

Ok, the best thing I know is Verizon Wireless "Across The Globe Service" as they call it, but it's big money and also is rumored to not work well. And besides, don't people in the army get internet for free to send email? I know tons of people in Iraq who I email. I don't know how they get the emai, but don't worry, if they get it, so will you

How can you change the language on your computer?
I have a laptop and its in all germany and i wanted to change the language without having to reformat the whole thing.

Goto your toolbar at the bottom of your computer and right click and goto toolbar and activate the language toolbar. You can then select whatever language you want. Take care! Brian

Do I go through customs in Germany
Do I go through customs in Germany?
This is only my second time travelling anywhere and the first time I travelled it was really hard on me. I want to take my computer and maybe a couple of my favorite dvds and my laptop along with my twilight series since I have alot of stops along with a christmas gift for my friend who i'm staying with. I'm seriously terrified of going through customs and I was just wondering if i'm going to have to go with the stuff I'm taking. any information at all would be helpful. thanks in advance.

You will have to go through customs. Don't wrap the gift, and explain that everything else is for your personal use. They are used to people having dvd players for long flights, and laptops.

Of course you will have to go through customs....and yes you will have to show all of your items....you should be fine though...

Depends where you are travelling from. If you are travelling from outside of Europe and Germany is your place of arrival then you will have to state if you have anything to declare. They are mainly interested in things like weapons, drugs, anything that is illegal or a risk to their country. If you arrive from another European country then (in my experiences) you can just go through, you don't get your passport stamped

do German hospitals have wireless internet
do German hospitals have wireless internet?
My friend in Germany is in the hospital. Also i add if the hospitals in Germany have wireless intternet, can patients use their laptops in bed to use the wireless internet?

it depends. the hospitals i know have none, and it's certainly not allowed in the IC unit... but you should ask.

Hello: Whether a German Hospital has accessible WiFi or not, may depend on the hospital. If you know the name of the hospital your friend is in, call their information desk. Whether or not patients are allowed to use their own wireless devices (as an inpatient) would depend on 1) hospital policy 2) the patient's condition (if your friend is in the ICU, then the answer would most likely be a "no") and/or 3) if your friend brought a 3g phone or laptop with them when they checked in.
