How many laptops are allowed in carry-on bag from US to Germany? I need to carry 2. Will customs duty apply?

did you purchase it while you were on your trip and is it still in it's original box? if not, you should be fine - if they have ay questions simply explain one is for work and the other is for personal use.

you can bring them to India but on the plain you can only have one. So a advice put one in your suitcase. i saw i man in the airport that had to [pick between has backpack or laptop

Sure you can, I travel frequently with two laptops. As long as your carry on bag or laptop bag is within the weight and size limits for your airline there should be no problem. No offense to the above answer, but never check in something like a laptop or any valuables for that matter if you ever want to see them again or at least in one piece. PS. Where you might have a problem is with the customs officials in India, you may have to pay duty unless you can convince the officials your laptops are for personal use and you don't plan on leaving or selling them in India.

How much do laptops cost in Germany
How much do laptops cost in Germany?
I'm going to Germany in June. I've heard that the technology there is much cheaper compared to other countries. Does anyone have any idea how much a decent laptop would set me back? A Sony Vaio, for instance?
