What are the best laptops for graphic design and Autocad?
I am planning to get a new laptop next month, I have an open budget! My requirements: - I work on Adobe's programs and Autocad, so I need great processing abilities, cashing, video card and RAMs. - Long life battery. - Simple design. ------------------------------------------------------ Which is better? - By CPU: 1- AMD. 2- Intel (i3/5/7 or else). 3- Celeron. 4- others. - By brand: 1- Apple MAC. 2- Sony Vaio F series. 3- Acer. 4- others, please specify :) By OS: 1- Windows (7 Ultimate, Home .....) 2- MAC OS X. ------------------------------------------------------ What do you think of the best models and brands depending on the above categories? LOVE your question! definitely the intel i7, any brand would do, but i would recommend apple or sony vaio for the battery life. about the OS.. windows 7 ultimate is great and you have more freedom over the hardware(processors, coolers, graphic cards) and stuff like that. while mac os x binds you to the products of apple, I myself would go with the win 7 ultimate just because of the hardware freedom,but the last one is definitely up to you and it doesn't affect the performance of the software.
