Packing list for my trip to Germany?
I am taking a college-oriented trip to Frankfurt, Germany for a few weeks in May and I need to make a list of things I need to buy/pack in order to maximize the awesome of the trip. Any input would be appreciated! In terms of clothes, I assume jeans and casual stuff is cool for most places, but I'll also have a decent amount of business casual paraphernalia like khakis and sweaters/button down shirts to bring along. I intend on bringing my laptop (cheap international Skype calls) and Droid (no phone service but useful apps) as well.

Germany is very casual stretching to grunge-casual. What you mentioned would be perfect. Frankfurt is geographically central in Germany so May shouldn't be too cold but definitely bring something warm for evenings and night. The month of May in Frankfurt has average temps of 66F high, 47F low. A light coat and sweaters and a hoodie would be good. Most important are good comfortable walking shoes.
