Which is more reliable in Germany- Wi-fi or DSL?
I mean reliable--as in continued, uninterrupted connection. I'm planning a trip to Germany and need to know the availability of Wi-fi hotspots and DSL in Germany and which is more reliable. I couldn't find anything on line. I also would like to know if its compatibile with a laptop that has a US based wifi-card. Any information would be much appreciated. Also, approximate costs and expenses for WI-FI and DSL in Germany would be a great help as well.

US based wifi-card ? European bands? No idea. Info seems available in Internet. You would google: hot spot Kosten (hot spot cost) or Tarife Frequenz = frequency - the technical terms are spelled differently but basically the same. zuverläßig = reliable
